Russia’s MyOffice says to come to 15 African states in 2022

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- Russian office software producer New Cloud Technologies, working under brand MyOffice, will enter the markets of 15 African countries in 2022, and its sales on the continent may account for a quarter of total revenue in the coming years, CEO Dmitry Komissarov told PRIME on Friday.

“We can take a list of large countries of Africa – I think that next year we’ll come to at least 10–15 of them, and plan to work in 30 countries in the future. Now Africa brings us 6–7% of total revenue. Next year we plan that Africa will account for 10–15% and 20–25% in three to five years,” Komissarov said.

Africa attracts Russian developers mainly by the scale of its market, which is much larger than the country’s own. The number of mobile phone users there exceeds 600 million and is to rise to 1 billion soon.
